Technical Specifications

 

The weight of the body-worn camera device shall not exceed 220 grams including the battery.

 

The body-worn camera device shall include two rear-facing lenses with no front-facing lens, and the resolution shall be no less than 18 megapixels. It shall also feature autofocus capability.

 

The dimensions of the body-worn camera device shall not exceed 25 x 62 x 118 mm.

 

The camera device shall have a field of view of no less than 140° diagonal, 110° horizontal, and 63° vertical.

 

The camera device shall have an external storage capacity of no less than 1 terabyte, capable of storing up to 200 hours of video, as well as an internal memory of no less than 16 GB and a RAM (random access memory) of no less than 2 GB.

The camera battery shall be a lithium-ion polymer type with a capacity of 3500 mAh, and it shall be rechargeable and replaceable.

 

The camera charging time shall be less than 3 hours, and the battery life shall be:

The camera device shall support Global Positioning System (GPS) with GPS/GLONASS/AGPS/BEIDOU systems, enabling the embedding and identification of location data in recorded video clips, and allowing for automatic location reporting, alerts, and notifications.

 

The camera device shall be equipped with 2 built-in microphones to capture high-quality audio during recording.

 

The camera device shall have the capability to automatically embed a timestamp (date and time) as metadata associated with the video file.

The date and time information must be visible during video playback.

 

The camera device must be integrated with multiple mobile applications that the user can operate to:

·         Collect evidence

·         Update metadata

·         Calibrate the device’s frame display

·         Register devices

·         Access device features

 

The camera device shall not contain any USB, Type-C, or other ports that allow connection to external devices, in order to ensure file protection and encryption.

A manufacturer-issued document confirming this requirement must be provided.

 

The camera device shall include a 13-pin connector, through which charging, connection to accessories or other devices, and all other functions are performed exclusively.

No other ports or methods for performing these functions shall be present.

The camera must be manufactured without any additional ports from the outset (not modified later), and official documentation from the manufacturer confirming this must be provided.

 

The camera device must have a method for adding evidentiary metadata to the video in the field prior to upload.

 

The camera device files must be exportable in a standard open format, allowing them to be played back using freely available software without the need for processing or conversion.

The camera shall have a side power-on button, which is dedicated solely for powering on the device and cannot be used to power it off under any circumstances.

 

The camera device shall issue an alarm when the battery is removed for any reason, and the date and time of removal shall be recorded.

This information must be clearly displayed when the camera is connected to the data transfer and charging platform, and the user must provide a justification for the battery removal through the system.
