about cell network data flow

the camera never pushes stream to VMS actively, it all depends on the VMS users, it's VoD(video on demand) mode, 

no user demand on stream, no data flow from the camera.

only one exception, the SoS button on the camera is pressed, the camera will activate a stream push to VMS.

 

about APN for cell network

those android based body worn cameras, helmet cameras are in fact special android phones, so APN is usually needed to be set in the device to support new SIM.

it's all the same as you do in an android phone, in system settings--->mobile/cellular network/APN, to add new APN for this SIM in a new country.

sometimes the IMEI of the camera has to be registered in the local telecom runner.

when all set OK, there will be a 4G LTE data flow indicator besides the LTE network signal,

how to copy recording files from the camera

1) connect to a windows PC via USB cable and run BVUSBManager to enable U-disk mode, and then have access to the inner storage, to copy/delete files inside the camera.

2) connect to a docking station to copy files out

3) download to the smarteye server over wifi
